In a gruesome incident late Thursday night, an unidentified individual was fatally hit by an unknown vehicle on National Highway 18 (NH 18), near the Baharagora police station, in the East Singhbhum district.
BAHARAGORA – In a gruesome incident late Thursday night, an unidentified individual was fatally hit by an unknown vehicle on National Highway 18 (NH 18), near the Baharagora police station, in the East Singhbhum district. The local police, upon getting informed about the incident, quickly reached the scene and rushed the person to the Baharagora Community Health Centre (CHC).
Medical personnel at the CHC, after thorough examination, sadly pronounced the victim as "brought dead". The deceased’s body was then sent for autopsy. While the identity of the victim remains unknown, police are currently making efforts to uncover it.
This tragic incident puts a spotlight on the need for increased safety measures on our roads, particularly during the night when visibility is low.
