Residents of Parsudih, under Seva Hi Lakshya Sanstha, protest the poor road conditions in suburban areas, receiving Zilla Parishad’s support.
JAMSHEDPUR – The residents of the Parsudih area in Jamshedpur have expressed their frustration with the dilapidated state of their roads in the suburbs.
Despite notifying local representatives and top officials, no solution has been found.
On Wednesday, under the banner of the social organization, Seva Hi Lakshya Sanstha, the people took out a rally from Jamshedpur’s Ambagan to the district headquarters.
They handed over a demand letter to the Deputy Commissioner of the district.
Zilla Parishad’s Poornima Mallick supported the protestors.
Manik Mallick, President of the Seva Hi Lakshya Sanstha, stated that the poor road conditions have affected the approximately two lakh residents of the Parsudih area.
Despite informing the RCD department and all the administrative officials about this issue, there has been no resolution, which led to the protest.
A signature campaign was previously conducted.
Mallick made it clear that the agitation will continue until the roads are reconstructed.
Zilla Parishad’s Poornima Mallick has also demanded a solution from the district administration regarding the locals’ issues.
She expressed that as the people’s representative, she stands with them and will join their every future movement.
