Two apprehended after a robbery in Mango Chowk; stolen items recovered
In a prompt and effective police operation in Jamshedpur, law enforcement officers have successfully recovered stolen goods and apprehended two individuals linked to a recent robbery incident.
JAMSHEDPUR – Two persons have been arrested after a robbery incident in Mango. The stolen items too have been recovered by the police.
The operation was set into motion following the robbery of Gaurav Lohar, an employee at Swarnarekha Automobile, who was assaulted and robbed by two men while having tea in Mango Chowk.
The swift action of local bystanders and the police led to the immediate arrest of the culprits, Bittu Pramanik and Akash Shyamal, shortly after the incident.
During a search operation, authorities managed to recover the stolen money and other valuables from the perpetrators.
Bhola Prasad, DSP Headquarters One, disclosed at a press conference that Bittu Pramanik, one of the arrested individuals, has a history of criminal activities and had previously been incarcerated for similar offenses.
Both Pramanik and Shyamal, following their arrest, underwent interrogation and were then remanded to judicial custody, leading to their incarceration.
The event unfolded last night around 8:30 pm when Gaurav Lohar was targeted by the criminals at a local tea shop, leading to a swift response from both the community and law enforcement.
