Adityapur Man Shot Dead: Shock Waves Spread Through Community

Local man shot dead in Adityapur; police investigating the shocking incident.

ADITYAPUR – A shocking incident transpired in Adityapur, Seraikela district, as a 50-year-old man, Tilak Mahato, was shot dead by three unidentified criminals.

Mahato had ventured out for defecation early on Monday morning when the assault occurred in Kashidih, falling under the RIT police station’s jurisdiction.

The news of the gruesome act spread rapidly, creating a sensation in the area.

Upon receiving the information, SP Anand Prakash promptly arrived at the crime scene to carry out an investigation.

The SP has expressed confidence in apprehending the criminals swiftly.

According to him, the killers, who were on a Pulsar motorcycle, fired five bullets at Mahato, with one bullet striking the back of his head.

Five casings were recovered from the scene.

The deceased was known to be a heavy vehicle driver.

Mahato is survived by two sons who are employed in a company located in the Adityapur Industrial Area.

The SP revealed that the police have obtained some leads related to the murder and are investigating all possible angles.
