Raghubar Das Releases Book on Kurmali Language Proponent Dr. Rajaram Mahato

Former CM Raghubar Das inaugurates a book on Dr. Rajaram Mahto, a Kurmali language and culture proponent.

RANCHI – The book, documenting the life and work of Dr. Rajaram Mahto, an advocate for the Kurmali language and culture, was launched by former Chief Minister Raghubar Das.

The event was attended by several vice chancellors from universities including Ranchi University and DSPMU.

The book, edited by Dr. Manjay Pramanik, is written in the Kurmali language.

It details Dr. Rajaram Mahto’s biography and his efforts to promote the recognition of the Kurmali language through his writing.

Former Chief Minister Raghubar Das, serving as the chief guest, commented that the development of society, the state, and the nation is impossible without the advancement of language and culture.
