New Urban Health Center Inaugurated in Kapali, Offers Comprehensive Healthcare

MLA Savita Mahato unveils Urban Health Center in Kapali, offering a range of services under the 15th Finance Commission initiative.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Urban Health and Welfare Center, constructed with funds from the 15th Finance Commission, was inaugurated in Ward No. 19 of Kapali Municipal Council area, Kharsawan district.

Ichagarh MLA Savita Mahato, Chandil SDO Rajit Lohra, and District Urban Health Manager Seraikela Manish Gulati presided over the inauguration ceremony.

The health center will have one doctor and three nurses available from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

District Urban Health Manager Manish Gulati further added that the center would soon house a polyclinic where specialist doctors will offer their services.

Additionally, provisions for monthly women’s check-ups and children’s vaccinations will also be initiated.

Meanwhile, SDO Ranjit Lohar mentioned that the center would also utilize the ambulance previously provided by Ichagarh MLA, making the health center fully functional.
