Preeti Suman of Jamshedpur Shines in BPSC Results
Mrs KMPM Vocational College student Preeti Suman, secures assistant officer role at the Bihar Public Service Commission, attributing success to her environmental management studies.
JAMSHEDPUR – Graduating from Mrs KMPM Vocational College in Bistupur with a BSc in Environment and Water Management, Preeti Suman, the 2019 Kolhan University Gold Medalist, is now setting a new benchmark for success.
Following the announcement of the Bihar Public Service Commission’s examination results, Suman has been appointed as the Assistant Public Sanitation and Waste Management Officer.
Suman credits her achievement to her educational background, asserting her willingness to contribute while preparing for the UPSC. "Environmental and water management-related topics made up 75% of the questions in the BPSC exam, making it much easier for me to clear. I am currently ranked 186th overall and ninth among women," Suman explained.
The examination for the role took place in 2022.
Suman’s family, including her homemaker mother Sarita Devi and father Parasnath, an employee of Tata Steel, are undoubtedly proud of her achievement.
Meeta Jakhanwal, the principal of the college, has underlined Suman’s success as an exemplification of the course’s significance, thereby, validating the value of academic concentration in environmental management.
