After an encounter with Aman Sahu’s gang in Ramgarh, top police officers get injured and admitted to Medica Hospital in Ranchi.
RANCHI – After the encounter between Jharkhand ATS and Aman Sahu’s henchmen in Patratu police station area of Ramgarh district of Jharkhand, the police department is now in alert mode and is sparing no efforts to nab the culprits.

Jharkhand ATS DSP Neeraj Kumar and Ramgarh District Force Inspector Sonu Kumar have been admitted to Medica Hospital in Ranchi after being shot during an encounter in Dadidih forest of Palu road under Patratu police station area of Ramgarh district.
Jharkhand Police DGP Ajay Kumar Singh, ADG Sanjay Anand Latkar, IG Campaign AV Homkar and all top officers of Jharkhand Police reached Medica Hospital after getting information about the incident.
IG (Operations) of Jharkhand Police, present at Medica Hospital, AV Homkar said that on the basis of confidential information, Jharkhand ATS and Patratu police station were engaged in siege against the organized gang, during which the criminals opened fire on the police and ATS team.
ATS DSP Neeraj Kumar, who was leading the team, was shot in the stomach while the SI of Ramgarh district force was shot in the leg, both of them are undergoing treatment under the supervision of doctors, who have been admitted to the hospital.
He said that a drive is being conducted against the people of Jharkhand militants and organized gangs.
There are some losses and casualties during this drive.
