At the INTUC workers convention, Rakeshwar State President Rakeshwar Pandey addressed the upcoming challenges for all labour leaders.
JAMSHEDPUR – The one-day worker’s conference for DLC INTUC concluded on Sunday at Nirmal Guest House. Chief Guest and President of INTUC, Rakeshwar Pandey, responded to the event by stating that INTUC is now the largest labour organisation operating in the unorganised sector in the world.
He asserted that all labour leaders in the country will face a significant challenge in the near future. "We must strive and endeavour to advance the interests of the workforce," he said.
Deputy Labour Commissioner Rajesh Prasad spoke about the ongoing efforts to secure the rights of the workers. "I am here at this conference to inform the workers that they can approach me at any moment if they face any injustices," he assured. Eric Lakra, Assistant Commissioner, Provident Fund, addressed the issue with PF during his speech.
The conference was presided over by Rajesh Singh Raju, president of Jamshedpur Metropolitan.
The program was inaugurated by dignitaries such as the Wire Company Union General Secretary Pankaj Singh, Vice President Shrikant Singh, KP Tiwari, Mahila Congress District President Nalini Sinha, Tinplate Union General Secretary Manoj Singh, Vice President Parvinder Singh Sohail, and Tata Motors Union President Gurmeet Singh Tote. Various employees, including Inter Kolhan in-charge Participants like Rana Singh, Santosh Singh, INTUC District Vice President, GN Choubey, Devika Singh, Usha Singh, Shikha Chowdhary, Meera Tiwari, and Chanda Singh also participated.
