Parents and students of Jamshedpur Women’s University are anxious as no clear decision or information regarding admissions for the upcoming intermediate session has been released yet.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Jamshedpur Women’s University, which is awaiting instructions from the Jharkhand government, remains in limbo regarding admissions for the upcoming intermediate session. This situation has raised concerns among parents and prospective students who are seen roaming the campus in hope of obtaining some information.
The uncertainty is not only affecting the students and their parents, but it’s also making the teachers and administrative staff of the intermediate division uneasy as they await the official communication.
Expressing their worries, female students along with their parents organised a sit-in protest at the university on Friday. The protest, held under the banner of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), was aimed at pushing for the creation of an intermediate section and to ensure the continuation of the academic programs at the institution.
The NSUI highlighted that despite the start of the online application process for intermediate admissions at other universities across the city, the Women’s University Administration has yet to commence its enrollment process.
