JAMSHEDPUR – The JRD Tata Sports Complex witnessed a remarkable display of athletic prowess as 360 participants competed in the Inter JDC Cross Country Championship.

The prestigious event drew passionate competitors from across Tata Steel’s diverse departments.

Moreover, Engineering Services demonstrated exceptional endurance to secure the men’s championship title.

Meanwhile, the HRM team showcased impressive stamina to claim the runners-up position in the men’s category.

Furthermore, Coke Plant delivered outstanding performances, securing third place in men’s and winning the women’s division.

"The championship exemplifies our commitment to nurturing sporting excellence within Tata Steel," remarked a senior sports department official.

On the other hand, HRM continued their strong showing by claiming second place in the women’s category.

In addition, HSM’s women athletes displayed remarkable determination to secure third position.

The event was elevated by the presence of distinguished guests, including Chief Sports Mukul Vinayak Choudhari.

Additionally, the championship builds on Tata Steel’s legacy of promoting sports, dating back to the establishment of JRD Tata Sports Complex in 1991.

Notably, the complex has been instrumental in developing numerous national-level athletes over the decades.
