HPSC Announces 4476 PGT Vacancies: Teacher Recruitment 2023 Underway

Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) opens online applications for 4476 Post Graduate Teacher vacancies for Mewat Cadre and Rest of Haryana Cadre, deadline set for July 18th, 2023.

DESK – The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has released a recruitment notification for Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) for the year 2023.

A total of 4476 vacancies have been announced across various subjects for Mewat Cadre and the Rest of Haryana Cadre.

Details of the Recruitment

The positions are open for the post of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), with the application mode being online.

The selection process will comprise an examination and an interview, with the last date for online registration set as July 19, 2023.

Distribution of Vacancies

For the Rest of Haryana Cadre, vacancies have been distributed across various subjects including Political Science, Physical Education, Music, Mathematics, History, Fine Arts, Computer Science, and Commerce.

The Mewat Cadre has vacancies in subjects including Urdu, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science, Physics, Physical Education, Music, Mathematics, Home Science, History, Hindi, Geography, Fine Arts, English, Economics, Computer Science, Commerce, Chemistry, and Biology.

Age Limit, Salary, and Eligibility Criteria

The age limit for applicants is between 18 and 42 years as of July 18, 2023, with upper age relaxation allowed for certain categories.

The salary bracket is set at ₹ 47,600 – 1,51,100/- along with the usual allowances.

Candidates need to hold a post-graduate degree (M.Sc./ M.A./ M.Com) in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks, a B.Ed. degree from a recognized university, and must have Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in matriculation or higher.

They also need to have a certificate of having qualified the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) in the concerned subject.

Eligible candidates are required to apply online through the official Haryana PSC website.

Registration requires a PPP ID, Aadhaar Number, or Mobile Number, along with a scanned copy of the passport size photograph, and signature.
