Fatal Accident at Baharagora Bus Stand, Uncontrolled Tanker Destroys Rest Room

Uncontrolled tanker crashes into Bahragora bus stand’s passenger rest room, causing multiple casualties. Immediate rescue operations are underway.

JAMSHEDPUR – A devastating accident occurred at the Khandamoda bus stand in Bahragora, East Singhbhum district.

An uncontrolled tanker crashed into the passenger rest room, leading to severe destruction and multiple people trapped under the debris.

One casualty has been confirmed so far, while initial reports suggest that five people may have lost their lives in the tragic incident.

The Badsol police, who arrived promptly at the scene, are making efforts to rescue the trapped individuals with assistance from local residents.

The mishap took place at around 6:45 in the morning, when a tanker truck loaded with bitumen from Kharagpur veered out of control on its way to Jamshedpur, crashing into the rest room.

The accident caused immediate chaos at the bus stand, prompting urgent calls to the police.

A rescue team has since arrived and is conducting relief and rescue operations.

Several cranes are currently in use to remove the out-of-control tanker, under which several passengers are believed to be buried.

Upon hearing about the incident, former Health Minister Dr. Dinesh Kumar Shadangi arrived at the scene.

He interacted with the locals, inquired about the ongoing rescue operations, and spoke with police officers concerning the relief work.
