International Olympic Day Celebrated with a Rally in Seraikela

Deputy Development Commissioner Praveen Kumar Gagarai and Sub-Divisional Officer Ram Krishna Kumar inaugurated an Olympic Day rally in Seraikela, boosting local sports talents.

SERAIKELA – On Friday, in commemoration of International Olympic Day, various sports organizations under the leadership of the District Olympic Association organized an Olympic race.

This rally began from the Indoor Stadium and, after passing through various routes of Seraikela, reached the Birsa Stadium in Seraikela.

The rally was inaugurated by Deputy Development Commissioner Praveen Kumar Gagarai and Sub-Divisional Officer Ram Krishna Kumar.

During the inauguration of this race, named “Run for Olympics,” Deputy Development Commissioner Praveen Kumar Gagrai congratulated the district’s sports talents on their journey towards the Olympic goal.

In the closing ceremony, Sub-Divisional Officer Ram Krishna Kumar expressed confidence that the sports talents of the Seraikela-Kharsawan district will indeed achieve the ultimate goal of earning recognition for themselves, the state, and the country.

He praised all the sports organizations for uniting them on a single platform and promised complete support from the district administration.
