Adityapur Police Arrest Two Thieves in Few Hours After Theft

Adityapur police quickly apprehended two thieves, recovering cash and jewelry, both individuals had prior criminal records.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Adityapur police station of Kharsawan district has reported a significant success.

In just a few hours following a theft incident, two youths suspected of committing the crime were apprehended near Muslim Basti I Road.

The suspects, found in a suspicious state in Laxmi Nagar of Dhirajganj, were caught with stolen goods including Rs 2.60 lakh in cash, and gold and silver jewelry worth approximately Rs six lakh.

Additionally, three mobile phones and a bag were recovered from their possession.

During the subsequent interrogation, the suspects identified themselves as R Lohar and B Ansari.

They confessed to the theft under rigorous questioning.

SDPO Harvinder Singh informed that both suspects had numerous previous cases against them and had only recently been released from jail.

Both individuals have been sent to judicial custody.
