Ramakrishna Mission Vocational Training Institute to be Renamed as RKM Vocational College
In a meeting today, it was decided that the Ramakrishna Mission Vocational Training Institute will change its name to RKM Vocational College, as part of its plans to increase student enrollment.
JAMSHEDPUR – On Friday, the governing body of the Ram Krishna Mission (RKM) Vocational Training Institute convened their first meeting in the institute’s conference hall in Sidhgora, Jamshedpur. One of the key decisions made was to rename the institute to RKM Vocational College, with the aim of improving its reputation and increasing student enrollment.
The meeting also focused on discussions around introducing courses beyond the current BCA program.
The RKM Vocational College, as it will now be known, is affiliated with Kolhan University and presently conducts a BCA course. After the meeting, the attendees conducted an inspection of the college’s facilities, including the laboratory, classrooms, campus, and library, expressing satisfaction with their current state.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by College Principal Dr. Arvind Tiwari.
Notable attendees included university representative Dr. Manoj Mahapatra, Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy, donor representative Dilip Kumar Bhattacharya, educationist HP Shukla, invitee members Partha Sarathi Chatterjee, and Swami Amrit Rupanand Ji Maharaj.
