JAMSHEDPUR – To commemorate nine years of its central government, the BJP has organized the Vikas Teerth Yatra across the nation.
This pilgrimage of progress is to be conducted in every district throughout June.
The yatra was inaugurated at Jamshedpur Women’s University, where District MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, alongside the BJP district committee president, kickstarted the journey. During the visit, Mahato toured the university and learned about all the faculties.
Reflecting on the past, Mahato emphasized that the establishment of the university was an initiative by the former Chief Minister Raghubar Das during the previous BJP government, with substantial support from the central government.
Highlighting the central government’s efforts, Mahato stated, “Over the past nine years, the central government has launched several initiatives aimed at empowering women, and this university stands as a testament to those efforts.
He also shed light on various schemes implemented by the central government, such as Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, and Jan Dhan Yojana, which were directed towards achieving holistic development and uplifting the underprivileged.
