Following Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s instructions, 10 Musahar families in Palamu received residential land leases, reinforcing their property rights.
RANCHI – Under the directive of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, 10 Musahar families residing in Koiripatra village of Nilambar-Pitamberpur block, Palamu, have been granted residential land pattas (leases).
Each family has been allocated 3 decimals of residential land by the government, facilitating the construction of their own homes.
This initiative is part of the government’s commitment to ensuring housing for the Musahar community under the Ambedkar Awas Yojana.
The residents of the district have previously also been beneficiaries of the land patta distribution.
Further, the Chief Minister has ordered the identification and Aadhaar card creation for those Musahar families who have yet to receive this crucial form of identification.
The families will also be enrolled in beneficial government schemes such as Sarvajan Pension Yojana and Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Yojana.
Officials said that in the wake of the Chief Minister’s directive, efforts will be amplified to identify Musahar families in other parts of the district and connect them with vital government schemes.
Anjaneyulu Dodde, Deputy Commissioner, Palamu, played a crucial role in the execution of these initiatives.
