Illegal Mahua Chulai Furnaces Demolished in Joint Raid Operation in East Singhbhum
Assistant Commissioner Excise, East Singhbhum, orders lead to demolition of five illegal Mahua Chulai furnaces; 7000 kg of Java Mahua and 180 liters of liquor seized.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a decisive action against illegal liquor business in East Singhbhum, five illicit Mahua Chulai furnaces were demolished in a joint raid operation.
The excise crackdown took place in Malianta, Madnabeda, Bhagabandhi-Pipla, and Demkadih under the jurisdiction of MGM police station.
The operation was conducted under the directives of the Assistant Commissioner Excise, East Singhbhum.
With the assistance of the MGM police, the team dismantled the illegal furnaces and initiated charges against absconding liquor traders operating these facilities.
The department said that this extensive operation led to the seizure of a substantial quantity of Java Mahua and Mahua liquor – 7000 kilograms and 180 liters, respectively.
The administration has issued a stern warning to others involved in such illegal activities, and has made it clear that the drive would continue and punitive measures will be taken promptly.
