Congress workers in Jamshedpur protest against PM Modi’s decision to inaugurate the new Parliament building, accusing him of flouting democratic norms.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a wave of disapproval against the government, Congress workers in Jamshedpur today protested the inauguration of the new parliament building, orchestrated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
They expressed their indignation by burning an effigy of the prime minister at Sakchi.
The party allegeD that PM Modi violated democratic principles by failing to invite President Droupadi Murmu to inaugurate the new Parliament House, which was opened to the nation on Sunday. This decision led to a nationwide uproar among opposition parties, united in their disapproval.

District Congress President Anand Bihari Dubey, leading the protest in Jamshedpur, criticized PM Modi for his dictatorial approach.
He condemned the ruling party’s attitude towards women, stating that this incident wasn’t the first of its kind, but a recurrent manifestation of BJP’s mentality.

Congressmen nationwide burnt effigies of the PM in their respective localities, accusing him of slighting women through his actions and maintaining a dictator-like rule.
