South Eastern Railway Press Release Displays Incorrect Dates on Website, Causes Confusion Among Passengers

Due to a few date-related mistakes on the South Eastern Railway press release, confusion arises for passengers trying to understand the schedule for upcoming special train services.

JAMSHEDPUR – The South Eastern Railway press release displayed on its website has been causing confusion among passengers due to a series of mistakes concerning dates.

The press release, dated 25th March, 2023, appears to have been incorrectly dated and should have been 25th May, 2023.

The error extends to the scheduling information for specific trains. For instance, the 04528 Chandigarh-Santragachi Special is noted to leave Chandigarh at 23.30 hrs on 25.05.2023, but its arrival at Santragachi is incorrectly dated 27.03.2023.

Similarly, the 05912 Dibrugarh-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Special, leaving Dibrugarh at 05.25 hrs on 27.05.2023, is slated to reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on 29.03.2023, instead of the correct May date.

These errors seem to stem from a formatting issue or a hurried cut-paste job, causing significant confusion for passengers seeking accurate information on the special train services.

At present, till 19.35 hours on May 25, 2023, the press release with the incorrect dates is displayed on the website and awaiting necessary corrections.

Due to a few date-related mistakes on the South Eastern Railway press release, confusion arises for passengers trying to understand the schedule for upcoming special train services.
