Parents of 40 detained students of Dayanand Public School in Jamshedpur seek DC’s intervention

Jamshedpur: Parents of 40 children failed and detained in the same class by Dayanand Public School management have appealed to the DC Vijaya Jadhav to ensure that their children’s future is not imperiled and they are promoted to the next class by the school.

Around 40 children of classes 9 and 11 in Dayanand Public School have been detained in the same class and their parents are now running from pillar to post to ensure that their children are promoted.

The school management has stuck to its stand saying that it has followed only the directives of the council.

In response, the parents met with the district’s deputy commissioner and requested a resolution to the problem.

The parents claim that although their children performed well in school have failed, while those who performed poorly were passed.

The teachers at the school, according to the parents, are to blame for this.

When the parents questioned the school’s management, it declined to provide them any information and suggested that they speak with the district’s Deputy Commissioner instead.

The parents contacted the district’s Deputy Commissioner in an effort to find a solution for their children’s future.

According to the principal of the school, the ninth and eleventh graders’ examination were completed in accordance with the council’s directives, and the administration of the school had no influence over the process.

The parents have requested that the matter be settled as quickly as possible since they are worried about their children’s future.
