Mango Municipal Corporation launches door to door garbage collection drive

Jamshedpur: Mango Municipal Corporation has launched a cleanliness campaign in its area and has launched a drive to collect garbage from each house by reaching the families through door to door garbage collection campaign.

The goal is to clean every street and neighborhood by collecting waste from every home and transferring it straight to the specified place.

Residents of Mango Municipal Corporation are being encouraged by the Municipal Corporation officers to help by bringing their waste to the collection crew rather than littering.

The Executive Officer of Mango Municipal body has issued instructions to continue the door-to-door cleaning programme, and efforts are being made to execute it across the Municipal Corporation. The ultimate objective is to keep the city clean and orderly.

The Executive Officer has asked the citizens living in the jurisdiction of Mango Municipal Corporation to help with the cleaning drive by bringing their waste to the door-to-door collection crew and refraining from littering on the streets or in public spaces.

In many areas, the door-to-door campaign had been launched earlier too, and supervisors and cleaning workers have been asked to visit their allotted locations to monitor the cleaning process.

A sufficient number of sweepers have been recruited to ensure the efficiency of the door-to-door waste collecting operation.

The cleanliness supervisors visit the various regions to check the cleaning efforts.
