Central Peace Committee meeting held at Sidhgora Town Hall ahead of 4 major festivals

Admn to take tough measures to maintain law and order on oncoming Holi, Shab-e-barat, Ram Navami, Chaiti Chhath and Ramzan festivals

Jamshedpur: Keeping in view the oncoming festivals of Holi, Shab-e-barat, Ram Navami, Chaiti Chhath, and Ramzan, the district administration held a peace committee meeting on Saturday.

The meeting was held at Sidhgora’s Town Hall and was attended by the Officers-in-charge of different police stations of the district, members of the peace committee, the president and the Secretary of the Central Peace committee, the Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav, the SSP Prabhat Kumar, the City SP, and the Dy SPs.

The discussion focused on resolving concerns relating to hooliganism by bike riders, as well as ways for monitoring and controlling anti-social elements.

Security troops will be posted in high-risk locations, and the administration has made the cell phone numbers of the City SP, Dy SP, and all station in-charges accessible to the public for anonymous reporting of unwanted incidents or any suspicious movement.

Several important decisions were also made during the meeting to ensure a peaceful celebration of all these incoming festivals.
