10-year-old child dies in Adityapur during treatment, family alleges medical negligence

Jamshedpur: In a tragic case of alleged medical negligence, a 10-year-old girl lost her life when she was being taken to TMH after her condition worsened during treatment at a nursing home in Adityapur.

According to the distraught parents of the deceased child, Aaradhya Kumari, the 10-year-old girl, died as a result of the alleged negligence of the medical staff at a Nursing Home and Diagnostic Center located in Adityapur in Kharsawan district.

The relatives of the family expressed their anger and caused a commotion at the nursing home premises.

The family of the girl is said to be from Adityapur Sai Colony.

Family members alleged that the deceased child Aaradhya had injured her leg and was being treated at the nursing home by a doctor.

Her condition deteriorated on Monday, and she was referred to TMH. However, she died while being taken to TMH.

Aggrieved relatives protested and caused a commotion at the nursing home premises and accused the treating doctor of negligence.

The incident is now being investigated by the Adityapur police station.

The family is demanding that the nursing home staff be held accountable for its negligence. The bereaved family is in a state of shock.
