Mismanagement in distribution of admission forms for BPL children irks parents

Jamshedpur: Mismanagement at Rajkiya Thakkar Bapa Madhya Vidyalaya school during distribution of admission forms for BPL category children has irked hundreds of parents who russhed to the school to get the form for their children.

The complete chaos, lack of information and mismanagement disappointed the parents.

The level of mismanagement on the part of education department, as far as the plans to enroll Jamshedpur’s BPL category children in private schools are concerned, will astound people.

Although big claims are made by the officials regarding BPL category children, the reality remain dismal.

The department of education was caught napping when the parents assembled at the school for securing forms for their children.

The Education Department had indeed sent out a notification to distribute forms for enrollment of kids under the BPL category.

It had been planned to hand out forms at the Dhatkidih-based Government Thakkar Bapa Middle School.

Beginning Wednesday, the distribution process of the forms began.

Some parents who reached the school today did get the forms.

Actually, thousands of BPL parents had arrived from all over the city since this morning.

However, parents were unhappy owing to the school’s egregious mismanagement.

When the parents arrived, they were told that the date would be extended. This upset them too.

People had arrived braving the cold weather.

Parents have been facing a lot of problems in securing forms for their children.

How serious the education department is about the BPL category children is readily apparent from the condition prevailing at the school where the forms were to be distributed.
