Jamshedpur to get twin gifts: 500 bed MGM Hospital and 4.5 km long flyover

CM may lay foundation of both projects on Nov 7 on his Jamshedpur visit

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur is going to get two big gifts from the Hemant Soren government: a 500-bed MGM hospital to be built at the cost of about 400 crores, and a 4.50 km long flyover that is proposed to be built at a cost of Rs 500 crores.

Jamshedpur West MLA and the State Health Minister Banna Gupta announced this during a press conference on Saturday.

He said that due to the vision and tireless efforts of the young Chief Minister of the state, Hemant Soren, very soon the residents of the city are going to get these two gifts.

He said that the Chief Minister would lay the foundation stone of the 500-bed hospital on November 7.

Probably the Chief Minister will also lay the foundation stone of the flyover on the same day.

The Health Minister said that MGM Hospital is the biggest support for the poor. The hospital has always been in the headlines for the wrong reasons, but that would now be a thing of the past.

He said that with the vision and efforts of the Chief Minister, an exercise has been started to make MGM Hospital a world class high quality hi-tech hospital.

Along with this, the way has been paved for the construction of a flyover to relieve the residents of the city, which will probably be the first flyover of Jharkhand, he said.

He said that the Chief Minister of the state is constantly working to connect the people of the state with the welfare schemes. This is a part of that effort.
