Adivasi Sengel Abhiyan protests Dumka atrocity
Jamshedpur: Adivasi Sengel Abhiyan burnt an effigy of CM Hemant Soren to protest atrocities against girls in Jharkhand. The protest was led by Salkhan Murmu, the national president of Adivasi Sengel Abhiyan on Monday. The protestors condemned the inhuman treatment of girls in different districts of the state.
Salkhan Murmu, the national president of Adivasi Sengel Abhiyan campaign, lled the protest at Sakchi roundabout in Jamshedpur.
He blamed the former chief minister and JMM supremo Shibu Soren, CM Hemant Soren and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha for the atrocities on women in the state.

Mr Murmu said that Shibu Soren first has sold off the interests of the people.
He said that the promises made by the present government have not been fulfilled.
He said that the government has not done anything on the issues of addiction, witchcraft, domicile and Sarna Dharma Code.
He also accused the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha of ignoring the interests of the tribal population of the state.
Mr. Murmu said that protests are being organized in 250 blocks of 50 districts of Jharkhand, Bihar, Bengal, Orissa and Assam against the Dumka incident where girls have been targeted.
After the demonstration, a memorandum was submitted to the President through the District Deputy Commissioner.
