Anoop arrested in Burmamines Dara murder case
Jamshedpur: The Burmamines police today arrested the main accused, Anoop Chakraborty alias Anoop Bengali, a resident of Bagbera Lal Building in connection with the murder case of Amit Singh alias Dara. The accused has been sent to judicial custody.
The SSP of Jamshedpur Dr. M Tamil Vanan told the media that the police recovered a pistol and two live cartridges along with a magazine from him.
A total of 9 cases are already pending against Anoop Chakraborty alias Anoop Bengali in other police station areas including Bistupur, Bagbera, Jugsalai and Chandil railway stations.
The main shooter in this incident was Anoop Bengali, who has been arrested from Purulia in West Bengal.
The pistol has been recovered from Burmines itself.
According to the police, the arrested accused has told the police that he was drinking alcohol with his associate near Binova Bhave Ashram in Burmamines and they had assaulted Chhotu Paswan after he had had an altercation with Chhotu Sonu and his brother Sunny.
According to the police, they had fired at Chhotu who was present at that time. But the bullet missed him and instead hit Amit Singh injuring him badly. He was taken to TMH in an injured condition, where he had died in the course of treatment.
