Sawan Mahotsav Brings Monsoon Cheer to Jamshedpur Women

Hundreds gather for festive celebration; Sandhya Chaudhary crowned ‘Sawan Queen’

The Jolly Group’s Sawan Mahotsav at Hotel Ganga Regency attracted hundreds of women for a day of monsoon festivities.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Jolly Group hosted a vibrant Sawan Mahotsav at Hotel Ganga Regency, drawing hundreds of women for monsoon-themed celebrations.

Participants donned green sarees with matching makeup, fully embracing the spirit of the season.

The event featured a variety of engaging activities, including games, balloon and bangle competitions, and a ramp walk.

Women danced to seasonal music, enjoying the traditional "Sawan ke Jhula" (monsoon swing) as part of the festivities.

Sandhya Chaudhary was crowned the ‘Sawan Queen,’ the highlight of the celebration.

"I truly feel like a queen. I’m proud and happy to be selected among so many women," Chaudhary expressed upon receiving the honor.

She added, "We’ve been participating in this Sawan Mahotsav for years without any special preparation."

Jolly Shukla, the event coordinator, oversaw the successful organization of the festival.

A team of dedicated women, including Vandana Mishra, Preeti, Sobha, and Pramila Singh, contributed significantly to the event’s success.

The Sawan Mahotsav served as a vibrant tribute to the monsoon season, bringing together the community in joyous celebration.
