Bhagwan Venkateswara Sri Balaji’s Kalyanam ceremony held in Andhra Bhakta Shriram Temple
Jamshedpur : The Kalyanam (marriage ceremony) of Bhagwan Venkateswara Sribalaji was held on Tuesday at the 100-year-old Andhra Bhakta Shriram Mandir located in Bistupur of the city.
During the Kalyanam, the priests carried out all the rituals. The priests conducting the rituals were Sri Kondamcharulu, Pandit Vijayan, Pandit Srinivasan, Pandit Santosh and Pandit Seshadri performed Kalyanam (marriage) of Bhagwan Alvel Manga and Devi Padmavati. It was done according to the South Indian traditions and on the lines of Tirupati Tirumala Devasthanam.
In the midst of all the rituals at Kalyanam, a South Indian musical instrument was played on the instructions of the pujaris.
The pavitra sound of the instrument was a special attraction.
A large number of South Indian citizens and other devotees of Jamshedpur eagerly wait for Brahmotsavam and Kalyanam of Ram temple every year.
However, in view of Covid-19, the worship was conducted according to the rules and the guidelines of the government.
