ADM (Law & Order) inspects Sakchi market, admonishes vendors not wearing masks

Jamshedpur: The ADM (Law & Order) N K Lal today visited the Sakchi Market and carried out an inspection of the shops opened on the first day of Unlock 1.0 in the state.

The ADM found several road side vendors carrying out their business without wearing masks. He admonished them and instructed them to follow all the covid-19 precautions.

Masks were also distributed among the shopkeepers on his instructions.

Business has been badly affected due to a prolonged lockdown in Jharkhand. Most of the roadside vendors are in dire financial conditions. Small businesses and street side vendors have been waiting for Unlock decisions eagerly.

Although, the Swasthya Surakash Saptah has been extended by one week till June 10 in the state, a number of rules have been relaxed.

All shops, barring garment, cosmetic, jewellery and shoes, have been allowed to open till 2 p.m. in most pandemic-hit districts, like Bokaro, East Singhbhum, Deoghar, Ranchi, Hazaribagh, Garhwa, Gumla and Ramgarh.

For other 15 districts, all shops have been allowed to open till 2 p.m.
