Corona claims 1 more life in Jharkhand on Saturday, total deaths reach 1,088

Ranchi: Covid-19 has claimed 1 life on Saturday in Jharkhand. With this the total number of deaths caused by the pandemic in the state has reached 1,088. On Saturday, the single death reported was from Hazaribagh district.

As per official data, on Saturday itself 42 new cases of coronavirus infection were also reported. The total number of positive cases till date has now reached 1,19,905 in the state. On the other hand, 41 patients were also declared recovered and were discharged. The total recoveries in the state have now reached 1,18,325.

For now, the state has 492 active cases of coronavirus infection.

The recovery rate for the state has now reached 98.68%, while the mortality rate is at 0.90%.
