36 new cases of corona in Jharkhand on Friday, no death

Ranchi: 36 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Jharkhand on Friday even as no death was reported from any district. The total death toll remained static at 1,081 till the end of Friday.

According to official data, 36 new cases were detected in the state taking the total number of positive cases in the state to 1,19,242. On the other hand, 51 patients were also cured and discharged taking the total number of recoveries in the state to 1,17,720.

Till date, 53,34,670 samples have been tested in the state. Out of these, 1,19,242 samples have tested positive.

For now, the state has only 441 active cases of coronavirus infection.

The recovery rate in the state has reached 98.72%, while the mortality rate hovers around 0.90%.
