8 new corona cases in city, only 56 active cases, no death on Wednesday

Jamshedpur: 8 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Jamshedpur on Wednesday. The total number of infections in East Singhbhum district has now reached 18,038. The district has now only 56 active cases of corona infection. No death was reported on Wednesday in the district and the total death toll remains static at 375.

As per official data, 8 fresh cases of coronavirus infection were detected in the district, while 6 patients were cured and discharged too. The total number of infections in the district has now reached 18,038, while the number of recovered patients has reached 17,607.

The number of active cases of coronavirus in the city right now is 56 and this number is falling steadily.

The recovery rate for East Singhbhum district has now reached 97.65%, while the morality rate is hovering around 2.08%. The positivity rate for the district is 3.42%.

According to official data on Jharkhand, 2 deaths have been reported in the state. East Singhbhum remains the worst-affected district of the state. However, for 18 days no death has been reported by the state. During the last 50 days, only 1 death has been caused by the virus in East Singhbhum district.
