Bhojpuri Cricket League to kick off on Jan 31 in city

Jamshedpur: Bhojpuri Cricket League would be organised in Jamshedpur from January 31. Bhojpuri Nav Chetna Manch will again hold this much talked-about cricket tournament this year too.

This cricket tournament has been held regularly in the city for the last several years.

32 teams would participate in the tournament this year. Teams from different parts of Jharkhand, as well as from other states, would arrive in the city to take part in the tournament.

Appu Tiwary of Bhojpuri Nav Chetna Manch said that the tournament would kick off on January 31 and would conclude on February 7.

He said that a prize of Rs. 51 thousand would be given to the winner of the tournament.

He said that this tournament is organised every year in the city with an aim to keep the youth away from addiction and keep them engaged in positive activities. He said that the tournament is being organised keeping the call of ‘Fit India’ given by the Prime Minister.
