Admn holds meeting with school principals, cleanliness survey, de-worming discussed

Jamshedpur: A meeting was organised by the district administration at Ravindra Bhavan in Sakchi to discuss the oncoming Cleanliness Survey 2021 and vaccination of school children in the district. The meeting was presided over by the Dhalbhum SDO Nitish Kumar. Most of the principals of different schools in the district took part in the meeting.

The administration gave several tips to the school principals for making the cleanliness efforts more effective. It exhorted everyone to work together to ensure that the city gets a better ranking this year in the cleanliness survey.

The administrative officers also urged the schools to help in providing data for de-worming of children.

The Dhalbhum SDO Nitish Kumar said that earlier, the de-worming program was completed in the schools itself. However, in view of the schools being closed due to corona pandemic, the administration sought details from school principals, so that Sahiyas could be employed for completing the de-worming task. The Sahiyas would visit the houses of each children and offer them medicines for de-worming.
