2 youths die in road accident in Potka Madansai village

Jamshedpur: Two youths died in a tragic road accident Saturday in Madansai village under the jurisdiction of Potka police station when a bus crashed into a bike. Both the bike-riders died on the spot.

According to information received, two youths – Deepak Singh, 31, and Himanshu Kumar Bhagat, 29 – used to work in Bharat Finance company and both were on a site visit to the village. They were on a tour of Potka area. In a Sangram Village Road, they were hit by a speeding bus.

The dead bodies have been kept in TMH Mortuary.

Soon after receiving the information, Potka MLA Sanjib Sardar reached TMH and sought details about the incident. He also assured the family members to help them in receiving compensation from the state disaster department. He said that a recommendation for Rs. 1 lakh compensation would be made to the state government.

He said that Bharat Finance company as well as the concerned insurance company would be spoken to for payment of compensation, pension and efforts would also be made to ensure that the dependents get jobs too.
