Congress OBC Cell holds picnic with poor and hapless persons at Aambagan Grounds

Jamshedpur: The East Singhbhum District Congress Committee OBC Cell organised a picnic with poor and marginalised people at Sakchi Ambagan Grounds on Sunday.

Hundreds of poor and hapless persons were invited to the picnic and they were offered meal by sitting on chairs and tables and by being a part of the Sunday picnic.

The Congress members also shared meal along with the poor picnickers.

Later, the president of City Congress OBC Cell, Surendra Sharma said that the district Congress Committee’s OBC Cell organises such picnic for poor persons every year.

He said that those poor persons who have no shelter or opportunity to share full meal are invited to the picnic and are given a chance to have food with all the Congress persons.
