Foreign guests staying in Hotel Centre Point test negative, free to return

Jamshedpur: All the foreign guests staying at Hotel Center Point in Jamshedpur, who were quarantined along with a few hotel staff members, on December 31, 2020 were found negative for coronavirus on Friday. All of these foreign guests have been allowed to go back to their countries.

According to information received, all the foreign guests were employees and delegates of Miltrack International Company and were in Jamshedpur for work-related stay.

They were quarantined in the hotel along with a few staff members of the hotel.

On Friday, all of them were again tested and were found negative.

The lab technician Kartik Mahato said that all the persons were found negative and they are free to travel back to their country.

The hotel too was sealed. However, the Incident Commander Savita Toppo and Dr. Vinay Bhushan Tiwari were present when the hotel was opened again.

The Manager of Centre Point, Md. Zubair said that the entire hotel would be sanitised well and the sealed room would be opened for use only after 48 hours.

He said that all the guidelines relating to Covid-19 are being followed and will continue to be followed till further orders of the government.

One foreign guest lauded the hotel employees as well as the Health Department for their proactive role.

She said that the policy was well-implemented. She also expressed happiness at the way the guests were looked after by the hotel staff members.

The manager said that the hotel is once again ready to serve its customers.
