East Singhbhum district completes 30 days of zero corona death

Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum district has completed 30 days of no corona death as even on Thursday no deaths due to coronavirus were reported by any hospital. The total death toll for the district remains at 374 at the end of Thursday.

According to official data, 16 more persons have been found coronavirus positive in the district. With this, the total number of infections in the district has reached 17,721. On the other hand, 25 more persons were also cured and discharged from hospitals and quarantine. The total number of cured patients in the district has reached 17,177.

For now, the district has only 170 active cases of coronavirus infections.

In all, 4,81,907 samples have been tested in the district. Out of these, 17,721 have been found positive, while 4,64,186 have been found negative.

For now, the recovery rate in the district is 97%, while the mortality rate is at 2.1%. Positivity rate is at 3.7%, which indicates that coronavirus is definitely on the decline in the district.
