Congress leaders and workers felicitated on eve of party’s Foundation Day

Jamshedpur: The workers and leaders of Congress party took part in a workers’ meet and a felicitation programme at Laxmi Nagar Chhath Ghat in Telco on Sunday, a day before the Foundation Day of the party.

The programme started with flag hoisting of the party. After that Mrs. Sandhya Thakur spoke about the different former presidents o the party and also about the different popular leaders of the party.

The Health and Disaster Management Minister of Jharkhand Banna Gupta was present in the meet as the Chief Guest.

Banna Gupta also offered shawl and medals to senior Congress leaders of Telco block.

Those who were felicitated in the program included Harivansh Prasad Singh, Yadupati Rai, Mukul Prasad, Kusum Devi, Radhakant Thakur and others.

Those senior leaders of the party who were honoured on the occasion included Ashok Chaudhary, Raghunath Pandey, Rakeshwar Pandey, K K Shukla, Usha Singh, Shikha Choudhary, Ravindra Jha, Anand Bihari Dubey, Anil Tiwari, Vijay Yadav, Sanjiv Srivastava, Shailesh Singh and Ajay Singh.

At the end of the programme Anand Bihari Dubey proposed the votes of thanks.
