Active corona cases in Seraikela-Kharsawan rise to 43

Seraikela: The number of active coronavirus cases in Seraikela-Kharsawan district has now risen to 43. It was 35 a few days back. The number of total deaths caused by the pandemic remains at 12 as no new deaths have been reported during the last few days.

According to official data, the district has tested a total of 1,62,395 samples till date. Out of these, 3,622 samples have tested positives while 1,57,9752 samples have tested negative.

Even out of the positive tested patients, 3,567 have already been cured, while 12 have succumbed to the infection.

For now, the district has 43 active cases of corona infection.

On Monday, 719 samples have been collected. Till date, the test results of 1,884 samples are still awaited.

East Singhbhum, the worst-hit district of Jharkhand, adjoins Seraikela-Kharsawan district. Yet, Seraikela-Kharsawan district has performed rather well and has been able to keep the total number of deaths limited to 12 only.
