Banna Gupta meets late Prof. Digambar Hansda’s family

Jamshedpur: The Health Minister of Jharkhand Banna Gupta visited the residence of late Prof. Digambar Hansda at Karandih to condole his demise and met his family members to console them.

Mr. Gupta also offered floral tributes to the picture of late Prof Digambar Hansda. He had paid this visit as a representative of the state government.

Later, in his remark, Banna Gupta said that with the demise of Prof. Digambar Hansda, the Jharkhand has lost a precious jewel and this loss cannot be repaired in the near future.

Prof. Digambar Hansda was an eminent educationist as well as a famed writer of Santhali language. He said that the literary world has lost one of its brightest stars and his demise has made everyone in the state extremely sad.

Professor Hansda had passed away two days back. He was 93. His demise has been condoled by the CM too.
