Corona kills 3 more in Jharkhand on Tuesday

Ranchi: Corona has claimed 3 more lives in Jharkhand on Tuesday, taking the total number of deaths in the state to 931 now.

Coronavirus continues to take more and more lives in the state of Jharkhand. Though the numbers have reduced a little as compared to the numbers a couple of weeks back, yet the number of deaths occurring on daily basis is almost steady. On Tuesday, coronavirus claimed 3 more lives in Jharkhand, taking the total death toll in the state to 931.

According to official data, on Tuesday itself, 261 new coronavirus infection cases were also detected in different districts. Now, the total number of infections in the state has reached 1,06,491.

On Tuesday, 343 patients were also cured and discharged. With this, the total number of recovered patients in the state has now reached 1,02,891.

The state has tested 38,26,168 samples till Tuesday. Out of these, 1,06,491 samples have come out positive.

The death toll is now heading towards the 1,000 mark and stopping it is a challenge that the government faces.

East Singhbhum remains the most affected district in the state.
