Eminent dentist Dr. Shahanshah Khan passes away
Jamshedpur: Eminent dentist of Jamshedpur Dr. Shahanshah Khan died Sunday night at Brahmanand Hospital. He was 60.
Dr. Khan was admitted in Brahmanand Hospital after he felt unwell on October 25. He was kept on ventilator for the last 14 days.
Dr. Khan was suffering from a few ailments relating to kidney, diabetes and hypertension too. He was also having breathing issues.
His death has come as a shock for citizens of Jamshedpur. The president of Indian Dental Association, East Singhbhum, Dr. Md Zaffar and social activist Sarfaraz Hussain have expressed grief at his untimely demise. They lauded his contribution as a dentist in Jamshedpur.
Dr. Khan was known for treating poor patients free. He did his schooling from Loyola School. Later, he did his intermediate from Aligarh University and then went to study dental medicine from Devangere in Bengaluru.
Eminent citizens of the city attended his last rites, including Javed Karim, Dr. Wahid Khan, Dr. M Pervez Alam and Hasan Imam Malik.
