Dist Admn in high alert mode to check both crime and corona

Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum district administration is in alert mode keeping the ongoing Durga Puja in mind. The district police has to tackle two challenges simultaneously this time – coronavirus pandemic as well as crime.

The district police has taken a host of measures to control crowding as well as crime.

All the check posts at the entry points of the city have been activated. Necessary guidelines have also been issued for strict compliance.

There would be complete ban on entry of heavy vehicles from October 22 to 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 a.m. next morning. It means heavy vehicles would be allowed in only between 4 a.m. and 11 a.m. between October 22 to 25.

Anti-crime squads would be deployed at all the check posts of the city to keep an eye on criminal activities.

The Dy SP Arbind Kumar said that the district administration and the city police is fully prepared to ensure that puja passes off peacefully and all the coronavirus guidelines are also complied with by all concerned persons.
