In a proactive move amidst Lok Sabha elections, Rs 71,500 was seized from a van at the Kesharpur check post.

JAMSHEDPUR – A routine check by the police and SST at the Kesharpur check post uncovered Rs 71,500 in cash from a pickup van driven by Bablu Soren from West Bengal.

Bablu Soren was unable to provide any valid documentation or explanation for the cash found in his vehicle.

Following the discovery, the authorities seized the money, adhering to election protocol, with further investigations set to proceed.

This incident reflects the strict enforcement of regulations to prevent unauthorized financial transactions during the election period.
