Jamshedpur: Four JMM MLAs and one ex-MP arrived at TMH together and ensured that two dead bodies not being released due to non-payment of bills were finally released.

According to information received, not releasing dead bodies of two deceased patients created a difficult situation for TMH management. A woman from Jugsalai Assembly constituency and another woman from Potka Assembly segment had died in TMH during treatment. The relatives were unable to pay the pending bills and owing to this the hospital was not releasing the dead bodies.

However, the relatives and their acquaintances contacted the local JMM MLAs and told them that the hospital was not handing over the dead bodies to them.

After this, Potka MLA Sanjiv Sardar and Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi spoke to Tata Steel officials and asked them to release the dead bodies. However, the officials could not act on this request.
