Rotary Club extends financial help to more than 2 dozen hair and beauty salon workers

Financial help disbursed in presence of BJP leader Kunal Sarangi

Jamshedpur: Rotary Club has disbursed financial help to more than two dozen hair and beauty salon workers in the city.

Facing difficult situation due to Corona lockdown, most of the salon and beauty workers had contacted BJP leader and state BJP spokesman Kunal Sarangi.

At the initiative of Kunal Sarangi, cheques were disbursed among two dozen members of the barber community.

Each member was given a cheque of Rs. 2500.

Kunal Sarangi was present as the chief guest of the programme organised for disbursal of financial help. He gave away the cheques to the salon workers.

Jharkhand Salon and Beauty Parlour Association has thanked Kunal Sarangi and Rotary Club members for the financial help. Association also handed them a citation.

It may be recalled that recently two members of the barber community in the city have committed suicide due to financial misery.

Rotary Club also helped the members of their family.

Those who were present on the occasion included Rotary Secretary and former president Gyan Taneja, Shridhar Sundar, president of Jharkhand Salon and Beauty Parlour Association Dilip Choudhary and Avinash Duggal.
